Partners-In-Ministry
The ministry of any
church is a co-operative endeavor. Just as a body is made of many parts,
each with a different function, so too is the Body of Christ (see Romans
12, 1 Corinthians 12).
Those who wish to
formally share in the ministry of "The Island Church" are
invited to become "partners-in-ministry" (see 1 Corinthians 3.9,
Philippians 1.5)
They also commit to
praying faithfully, giving generously, attending regularly, serving
enthusiastically, share tirelessly, grow spiritually, and generally
promote the spiritual health and vitality of "The Island
Church".
In addition, partners
vote on an annual budget, and elect our leadership team.
